I may soon be asked to backup an existing Exchange server in another part of our organization. Their setup is as follows:

2 Windows Server 2003 Cluster nodes
- Exchange Server 2003
- SAN on the backend

I know I'll need 2 cluster client licenses (one for each node). I know I'll also need the networker Exchange module (but will I need 1 or 2?).

My backup server is a SUN E450 running Solaris 8. Backup server software is Legato Networker 6.14.

What licensing modules will I need to add in order to backup this setup? Also, does anyone see any problems in this scenario, such as version conflicts, etc?

Thanks!

According to the rules, each node that hosts a database must be licensed. So in this case you need 2.

Do not forget that you need a clientpak/Windows license as well.
