Ok. I have two windows 2000 citrix servers in a windows 2003 active directory. They run Metaframe XP Presentation server feature release 3. I am pretty new to Citrix, so I got screwed a couple of days ago. Basically, I never installed a license server so clients could not connect. (they could on this site, but not on my west coast site which has a different subnet and connects via a site to site tunnel). I installed the license server on my 2003 server domain controller and they connect fine now. MY QUESTION IS, do I need to purchase any additional terminal server licensing? According to Microsoft, the clients are fine as long as they are running windows 2000 pro or XP.

You are correct. No need add ts cals, if clients are win2k, or XP pro.
Whatch it if you're going to upgrade the TS servers to win2k3, because then the fun is over, and everybody needs to pay.

Thank you. That's what I thought, I just wanted to make sure. Could not have anymore outages like that :)
