I have a standard one-word answer to anybody looking for previous version software:

EBAY!!!

And you should be able to find enough listings to get an idea of what the current rate is, which will undoubtedly be cheap.

go to and search for it by name.

i tried ebay, but when i searched for access 97 all i found was books for $5/copy

besides, i've never used ebay

i was kind of hoping for, you know, a software reseller... store... or something...

how are you supposed to trust joe blow on ebay?

I thought everybody had tried ebay for something. I did a quick search and found a full version, schrink-wrapped copy of Access 97 from a reputable seller (298 positive feedbacks) that has 6+ hours left at a price of 55 bucks:

If you don't get this in time, you can look for another one, since I had 2 pages of Access 97 auctions in my search result, although most of them were indeed books.

Good luck
