Legend R7 and DMS-500?

Can the Merlin Legend R7 connect to a PRI on a DMS-500 switch? If so are there any special configurations that will need to be done? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Both Avaya and Telco have been no help.

I have done a little research on this. Looks as if the DMS-500 is a combination of the 100 & 250. The PRI in question is a Local PRI only, so to me it makes sense that if I set this as DMS-100 switch type, and have the providor change to NTNAPRI/NI-1 the circuit should be able to be brought up. Any thoughts?
