Legato Backup a Server with RSH

For a Project a Customer uses Linux Sparc64 on a Sun Server.
Legato EMC Support told me, that therew is no Networker Client available for the Linux Sparc Architecture.

Is it possible with Legato to use some RSH or SSH Connection to Backup the Data onto Tape with a different Tool like tar ...

Maybe you could "rsync" the data on an nfs-share of a Client wich is supported by networker.
