I am wondering if there is a way to use legato for trn logs.
"not having to backup the entire log"
I'm using server2003, sql2000 and legato 7.2[bigears]

I suppose "trn logs" means "transaction logs"?
What do you mean "not having to backup the entire log"?

You know Networker module for SQL can backup SQL logs
(level incr = SQL log backup, see NetWorker Module for Microsoft SQL Server Administrator’s Guide)

thanks speculos,

yes trn does mean transaction logs..

Let me explain.. I have a full backup of a set of databases and an incremental every hour after that however, the inc backup is the same size every time..??????

My understanding is that after a full is done then the incrementals should pickup only the transactions. ???
