I'm new to Legato and was hoping someone could provide me with steps to do this upgrade. I'll be doing it on a few storage nodes as well. Haven't had much luck finding any upgrade information on Legato's website. Thanks.

Assuming a bood backup of your indexes and bootraps ...
- you need to stop the daemons
- uninstall the software
this will leave the database and configuration files behind
- and simply install the new software. That's it.

Start with the NW server, then the storage nodes & clients.

Thanks. I saw somewhere else about needing to run an nsr_ize command prior to upgrading? Also, when going from 6.1.1 to 6.1.4, I shouldn't need any new enablers, should I? Also, are there any gotchas that I might need to know of?

One more question, when the upgrade is complete I'm assuming that all of the configuration for the devices should still exist also?

For this version you will not need new enablers. Consequently you do not need to nsr_ize anything.

It is a Legato policy to leave everything as before. This even applys to new parameters - by default a new NW version will provide but not activate them.
