Hi folks

I'm having a bit of a problem trying to left Justify a numeric field on a report.

I have tried all the usual stuff in the report expression boxes.
Weird thing is if it is previewed in Acrobat, everything looks fine but come to print either from Acrobat or from our program the field seems to be centre justified.
If anybody has any ideas, I would appreciate hearing them.

Thanks

Have you checked the text alignment in the format menu with your field selected?

The most common solution is H2O!

If the screen preview is different from the printed report, it often points to a problem with the printer driver or fonts. Have you tried repeating this test with a different printer driver? (just to eliminate a possible variable).

Don't forget a fixed width font like 'courier new' if you want rows to line up nicely.
