I am using crystal 8.5.

I have copied the enclosed DLL file to your \WINDOWS\CRYSTAL directory as I am
using it on my local (developer) machine.

As i need to distributing this
file for use with a compiled report or application, I have also copied the file to your client's \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.

However I can't get the report to work on my clients pc. I get the following message "Cannot find database dll".

Do I have to register the dll files on my or the clients pc?

Any ideas how I can get the report to work on a clients pc?

If the dll has not been registered on the client side before then I assume you would have to register it on the client side.

Thanks Whitebat
