I converted an Approach database that is fairly simple (just 6 fields but 550,000 records). There are two numeric fields; one being a 4 digit Pin and the other a 5 digit Zipcode. When converted, the leading zeros were dropped. Can I either format the Approach db to prevent this from happening and convert again or can someone provide me with a quick macro to add leading zeros to fill those fields?

To display leading digits, enter zeros in the format property of the field (or the controls where you display it)- for four digits, enter four zeros; 0000.

To store you'd need to change to text field, and update the fields, but perhaps better keep them numeric?
