I have a dilema. I need to change all 2461 of my extensions from "switchhook flash" yes to no. Of course I don't want to do each one manually, but my version of DSA doesn't have the option to change switch-hook flash from yes to no under the Find and Replace tab. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

How about creating a template with the switch-hook flash set at no. Then use DSA to export the Extension and Port Number into a spreadsheet. Delete the extensions! Then add them again using DSA and the new template using the same Extensions and Port Numbers which were exported.
Do this for a couple of stations first to make sure it works then do in batches of about 50.
Then if something goes wrong you only have to recreate 50 stations.

Make sure you are sure you are clear about the process before doing a big batch.

If you go into import data and choose the "change" radio button just fill the feild of the form with the new value and it will change them all for you. John

That's a great idea. I'll give it a shot. I wish Avaya would come out with an ASA update that uncludes switch-hook flash in the shortcut options. John, if you take a look at all the options on DSA ver R1.5.05, you'll see that there's no column for switch-hook flash. If you have a different version which includes this, please let me know. Or better yet, let me get a copy!!!! Seriously, thanks guys for all your help.
