I am looking to create some layers using dreamweaver. I would like to have the layer appear or desappear whn I go over part of an image map.
Where Can I see an example showing me how this is done.
I tried to find one in tis forum but the search engine is currently down.
Any nfo would be appreciated.
Thanks.

well when you make a layer you must give it a name. Then just add the show/hide behavior to the link you want to activate or hide the layer. [soapbox]

Well,
I did what i want to do but the layers do not show if I use Netsacpe. Is there any special setup to do or do I need to do ti another way if I want to be able to see the layers in Netscape?
Thanks
Louis

I haven't had any problems with layers and netcrap. What version are you using? Make sure you have the z order of your layers set properly and don't use any nested layers. Peace

go to the macromedia exchange and download the layers2style extension. Its a little bit more cross browser compatible [soapbox]
