Launching Default Application

Does anyone know how u launch the default application for a file.


I.E. I click on a tif file and the default veiwer lunches

I am only dealing with one filetype I.E. tif files but due to the fact that the software needs to run on differing windows environments where the viewer program resides in different places on each


any help would be much appreciated

You want to use the ShellExecute API. Try searching for threads that reference that or use thread 222-5014 as an example.
