Hello,

I have a laptop and the fan blows out hot air a lot of the time. A lot of the time the laptop turns off by itself. I just shuts off. What is the cause of this...I think it is due to the fact that it gets very hot and the Laptop shuts off. What is the matter?

Thanks

I think you are correct in your diagnosis.

As to why it does this, I would look for a displaced heat shield on the processor or nearby components, a displaced heat sink, and electrical grounding issues. Laptops are prone to having loose screws and consequently poor frame grounds. Begin by tightening every screw you can find.
