Laptop LCD showing random lines and fragmented display

I have recently rebuilt a laptop - however now it is now showing random lines and fragmented graphics on the whole display. I have tried reseating the plugs for the lcd but there is no change.

Any idea?

Replace it. LCD screens are easy to damage and in most cases not repairable.

Is there a chance it could be the cable / plug?
