Hello.

I'm new here... Can't find the answer surfing the Web...
Here is the history.

I have decided to upgrade my 5-6 years old ipLDK-100.

I got new MPBE (rev.1.6 N1104) and new PMUE (IPLDK-100 ASMU2N GS90p-3. 9E).

The old one was the followig - MPBE (rev.1.9 C0503) + PMUE (LDK-100 PMU2E GS-90P 2.21) + LDK-100 LANU (rev.1.5 N0504, SPGY0017703-1 0) + PLLU (N0407, SPGY0017101-1.0).

When I try to install old LANU (rev.1.5 N0504, SPGY0017703-1 0) on new board the system is starting to reseting itself... When I remove LANU everything is OK, no reseting...

What a problem can be? I look from list this LANU is compatible...

I did it...
I have removed LANU, entered IP address and other net settings and switched on PBX.
The effect was the same. PBX was resetting continuously...

Are you sure about PGM175?
It is some kind of "Print Serial Port Selection(PGM175)

OLD LANU (SPGY0017701-1.0 ~ SPGY0017702-1.3)" and
"NEW LANU (SPGY0017703-1.0 ~ )"

are compatible with both MPB, MPBN and MPBE.

Sorry, it is in PGM108: (not 175)

PGM 108 1 IP Name
2 Server IP Address
3 CLI IP Address
4 Gateway Address
5 Subnet Mask

Then yes... I inputted IP and other settings in PGM108... the result as I described... Resetting...

The same happening even when there are no any other cards... only MPBE + LANU!

p.s. the file shows how system phone looks like...

So you are running version 3.9 now of the ipLDK-100, using the new MPBN and ASMU2N - so you can use two cabinets.
What happens if you power off the ipLDK-100 and install the old MPBE instead of the new MPBN - and re power the system. On the old MPBE - try to add the LANU and see if the ipLDK-100 restarts. If it still does that I would guess that the LANU is defective.

That's the point...
With old MPBE the LANU is working... it is ok... only with new MPBN... Because previously it was already installed on old MPBE... I just wanted to install it on a new one and got this result...
sorrowfully...

this pbx is allocated 300km from me and it is the best way for remote management with LDK Admin... :(((

I asked my tech friends - about this issue. If the LANU was - in any way - removed from the MPB with power on , that would explain the problem. Or if the LANU has been sitiing with power on - in an ipLDK-100 for years and the by powering down the ipLDK-100 it could go defective.
Does the ipLDK have a good grounding system?

///doktor

Regarding the grounding system I can tell it is not set...
But I can be sure that I didn't remove or install with power on.

Firstly I have disconnected all from the power and only after that I installed new boards and powered on back.

And also if I install old MPBE with LANU - everything is working just well as before... So I completely upset...

Yes... it is... Now I'm 300km from that point... Next time I will go there I will take LANU and try to install it one more time...
May be at that time the stars were not on the right location... :)

Btw is there any other way to get connected to the PBX remotely?
I need LANU only to be connected to PBX remotely and make configuration...

It is possible to dial in through the ISDN lines, using an ISDN moden (to dial in with - ISDN modem is build-in on the MPBN), or through the MODU, if installed.
MODU is a pggy-back board for the MPBN.

can i get more information how to connect using ISDN...
what is required from h/w; which settings should be done etc.

Thanks a lot!

Like when you in the old days used ISDN for Internet, an connection from your PC is made through an USB/ISDN modem.LAN address for the ipLDK is 10.0.0.3. "

->

This is handled by the ipLDK-100/300 ADMIN program.
You do not need to set up the "ISDN for Internet". Initialization and dial up is done by ipLDK-100/300 ADMIN program.
If you had an LG iPECS or ipLDK-24, you would have to install the
"ISDN for Internet" part.

///doktor

LAN address for the ipLDK is 10.0.0.3 for ISDN connection, right?
That means I have to be in the same network... Oh, boy... I'm not... Can I change this ISDN IP what I need? And they try connect via PC ADMIN using Connect (ISDN)?
