Well.... for starters, if you have collisions on your switch, you have some serious problems. (Unless your switch connects to hubs - then it's ok) As for broadcasts, that's easy. A simple show interfaces will show you that.
The 'show interface' command reveals this information for you. You will be presented with the following output:

Try using the Cisco Network Assistant software. You may need to set yourself up with an account on Cisco to get it, but it is a great piece of software to monitor and configure IOS based devices. COS based devices I don't think are supported.

If I want to implement VLAN in my LAN and need to check the broadcasts and collisions, so that I can plan my VLAN according to this. cisco network assistant software is not available to download. pls provide me any another software for same.
