I have a website hosted by an external source
ie i also have a webserver locally on my LAN
my LAN domain is the same as my external website address
ie domainname.co.uk
from my LAN i can access all sites except my site (
How can I access the website from within my LAN

Thanks for your help, we are running DNS locally but I didn't set it up the guy before me did, i'm not how to do what you suggested could you talk me through it.

Thanks

Depending on the DNS server you are running, you need to edit the zone file for that domain. You need to add an A record for point to the IP of the webserver hosting your site.

Excellent, than solved it.

Thanks for your help
