Laggy, Sloooow I.E. 6 1

Hi pl,

I got this recent problem with my Internet Explorer 6.
Well, it is very, very slow in displaying the contents.
Even when I am typing this message, the words will lag for a good few seconds before appearing.
And the thing is that the rest of my PC's program is functioning properly, without this lag thing.So it's almost a I.E , surely a I.E .
The lag is horrible...and the harddisk isn't even churing.

Pages will load slowly and those with pictures, even worse.
Scrolling was a nightmare.
I formatted my harddisk once bcos of this prob, and it had returned again.

Any ideas as to what is causing it?I don't remember installing any programs recently.

"Sounds very much like a Cascading Style Sheet hijacker which is known for slowing text. Use your antispyware software and locate .css extensions and remove system.css and my.css like insertions.
Also, while you have internet explorer open,

Click Tools / Internet Options /Accessibility

See if "Format documents using my style sheet" is checked, and see if my.css or, system.css is in the pathe....

Click Ok, then again,

Open your windows explorer, highlight Windows, in right pane search for and delete system.css or my.css Double check that by searching for them in FIND....

reboot and see if your typing is ok"
