KX-TA824 wont ring after hooking up TVA50

I just hooked up a Tva50 to ta824. the auto attendant picks up but the phones don't ring first. I changed 411-413 to 15ms. butt it didn't seem to work.

how is the phones set to ring? are you using dil 1:1

The co are set to normal in 414

Check ring program On the extensions that should ring. If you unplug the vm do the phones ring

All the extensions ring when the voice mail is unplugged.

Thanks for your help. I was able to get the phones to ring twice before voice mail picks up. It seems the ta824 gets the call but it is taking 3 rings then extension rings twice then voice mail picks up. Can yhe ta824 get the call out sooner to the extension?

Please start again and tell us WHAT YOU WANT TO DO. The 824 can ring any or all extensions, including the VM ports, and then the AA would pick up the call on the 5/10/15 second delay. The custom service menu would then process the caller's request and ring an extension. You set the string for FxD which removes the AA/VM from the call and the TA figures out what to do. Note: Each station has FWD set back to the 107/115 VM port. You don't modify the TVA to make it pick up on delay or it screws up the whole system for transfers and check-in.

The 824 does NOT have ring groups so when you send a call to an extension, it's the only extension that rings.

I have the extensions ringing properly now. I am trying to use the tva as an answering machine. I have set up custom service menu to transfer calls to mailbox 100. This seems to be working but how do I pick up the messages?
