Hi,

I have a Sun Blade 150 and a Sun USB keyboard and mouse.
But I now want to use with a Keyboard / Video / Mouse (KVM) switch.

I've managed to get it working with my Belkin 4 port PS/2 switch but had to use a number of converters and could only use a PC PS/2 keyboard - so I don't have a STOP key and I have trouble getting the Sun to turn on - apparently due to it not detecting the keyboard.

Now, I've found a IOGear GCS1734 MiniView Extreme 4-Port USB KVM Switch which supports USB and PS/2 directly, has Sun emulation and can map various PC keyboard keys to a STOP key (e.g. Windows + ALT = STOP).

So it looks like the job, but I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this or suggestions??

I'm trying to keep the cost down - the IOGear is just over 100 UK pounds and that's OK, but I don't want to go much higher.

Thanks

Simon Bond
