I have some users who need to be connected to my server to access files. Has anyone used a CAT5 KVM Extender? What is a quality and reliable brand? Is there a better solution?

Why don't you setup network and just share those files out ?
wouldn't that be easier ?

Hungster's reply makes a lot of sense.

However, a note on cat5 KVM extenders...

We use them in our datacenters and they are extremly convenient. The brand we use is CYBEX and has been very dependable.
