Database is in recovery. Estimated time of completion (days)

Need to be able to stop recover and delete databsae so we can perform a restore.

How do you do it?

You could stop the sql server and see if you could delete the database then, or reboot the SERVER and stop sql server on boot up. The first method may take some time if your recovery has been running for some time since it may be rolled back.

Hope this helps.
