Hope this is the right forum for this, but if not, maybe someone here will still have the answer. A co-worker was telling me that her Enter key on the keyboard 10-key pad doesn't work at all, but the number keys do. We looked through control panel and keyboard settings to see if we could find anything to alter, but didn't see anything. Does anyone know of a fix for this? Thanks.

Sounds more like a physical fault with the keypad, one that could only really be fixed by the manufacturer...

A few questions though:
Did the keypad come with a driver disk?
Do you have the drivers installed?
Can you find newer drivers on the web? Try the manufacturers website, they tend to have a product search facility for downloading drivers.

Get a new keyboard, it sounds like the microswitch under the key has failed. You could try popping the key off and seeing whether something is interfering with it but keyboards are as cheap as chips nowadays.

Thanks for the responses. I did not attempt to find any drivers, and it's a company pc so I'm limited to what I can do on it anyway when it comes to installing anything. I passed on your responses to the co-worker with the problem and maybe she can pop off the key and check under it or something. If not, it'll be next week before see her again and will try it for her. Thanks again.
