If you did not generate a code then you cant see the code.....only who generated it and what its for.
Questions is does anyone remember if you generate a key code can you then see all past keycodes?

Maybe if you were the one that has generated codes for that system in the past
If you are talking about Nortel's site

That is correct. The "Distributor of Record" is the only one who can see the codes. You can submit a Distributor of Record change request and it will usually be changed within 24 hours. At least that has been my experience.

Well now I don't see the DOR form on Nortel's website. You can always call the Nortel main number and enter ERC 4560. I have needed keycodes a couple of times over the last few months and the person that answers the phone has given them to me no questions asked.

Ahh! Found it. Log into Nortel and click on Support and Training. At the bottom right on that page you should see Support Services under Other Resources. The Distributor of Record change request is right there.

You should be able to see the codes activated for that system if you have KRS access. At least I know you can on the BCM.

firebird, I've had a couple of different vendors look up the same system before and give me back the same information. We have checked a number of systems before an upgrade just to make sure all the codes were good ones and showed on the KRS.

Hello Hawks

In EMEA (and even within the UK) there are many diferent distributors. My previous company was "BT". They had their own setup with Nortel.

Since I've left and started with another maintainer, I can look up the same Site ID that had once belonged as a customer of BT, but had since transferred over onto my own company. Now that this has happened, I can't see any of the keycodes for BCM's, CS1000 etc. I can only see the Licences etc.

However, I did try using a suggestion that was for the BCM try & buy option and this worked!. By generating a new keycode with these features enabled, I could at least download a keycode although I still couldn't download the previous *.lic files.

All the best
