Hi guys,

can anyone explaine why in system information in windows help it tells me that kernel32.dll is not available?
I have a program that requires that dll and tell me it cannot function because it is linked to a missing kernel32.dll file:get windows directory A.

When i use windows explorer to look at my windows files it show that dll under known dll's

Would appreciate any help, thanks J

Kernal32.dll" actually is connected to many "subsets" of files. Read your error carefully and you may find that it says"Kernal32.dll, or one of it's files (?) is not available". "get windows directory A" shows either the A drive is defective, or there is information (install disk?) that is needed from the A drive. Has the program ever worked? If so, did you save any info on the A drive? This is a common problem when backing up and restoring data on another drive. Either way, run SFC to make sure your system is complete.
