Hi, I need help with errors in the Security section of the event viewer on our W2k DC.

On a daily basis there are at least 50 of these entries:

Event ID: 537
Source: Security
Category: Logon/Logoff
Type: Failure Audit
User: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM
Computer: Servername (this is a windows 2000 domain controller)

Description:
Logon Failure:
Reason: An unexpected error occurred during logon
User Name:
Domain:
Logon Type: 3
Logon Process: Kerberos
Authentication Package: Kerberos
Workstation Name: -

What do these mean and how can I get rid of them?

Thanks in advance for any/all replies!

MJ

Check your ipsec settings on all the machines. They should be the same. It sounds like some machines do not have the same security negotiation settings.
