Keeps installing the same Windows 98 updates

We use the windows update on the start menu and it downloads the update and installs it and we check the install history on mircosofts site and it says we have downloaded and installed the same update for the last month. It says they were successful. The update is 823559 security update for windows 98.

Is anybody else have this problem?

So if you run the windows update again, does it download again? If not, I wouldn't worry about it.

Please always take the time to backup any and all data before performing any actions suggested for ANY problem, regardless of how minor a change it might seem. Also test the backup to make sure it is intact.

Microsoft has a repair for this, try a search of the MS database for this problem.
