Keeping file permissions

Soon to be doing a DC upgrade, before doing so I'm backing data up onto another file server.

Once I have completed the DC upgrade I will move all the data back - is there any way I can preserve the modified date?

Last time I did this I made this mistake and all the files had the modified date changed.

Check out robocopy. It's part of the Windows Server 2003 Resource Kit Tools and will do what you need.
