keeping fields together on report 1

how can I specify that I only want the 'details' section to be printed if the entire band fits on the same page? I have a field that I've specified 'stretch with overflow' for, and if it's four lines, the last line displays on page 2, while the other three lines appear on page 1. I thought there would be a "keep together" option, but I can't seem to find one. BTW, I'm using VFP 7

Can you use a Print When expression based on the length of the field?

The option you speak of doesn't exist per se.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I presume you're talking about detail lines within a Group. If this is the case your best bet may be to use the "Start Group On New Page When Less Than" option in the Data Grouping Dialog Box of the Report Designer.

that was perfect!! thanks jimstarr. I made a data group and specified to only print when there's at least 1.5 inches left, and it works just fine. Thanks again.
