kde Dcopserver error Why?

Hello everyone,

for some reason, I no longer can run kde 3 on my freebsd box 4.6.2.

It comes up and start to go through the usual icons on the start up screen and stops on the 2nd one and it just stays there for hours.

I also get a message of .Dcopserver error on the console.
I have removed the .DCopserver files but no luck.

any idea?
