<br>
Line 7 has:<br>
fso.getfile(&quot;d:\\directory\\bin\\executable.exe.log&quot;);<br>
<br>
can anyone tell me where or why am I getting this error

What's the script you're trying to use? This information would be helpful, but it looks like an Internet Explorer error. I would suggest showing us the code to what is relevant to this error (if you're not sure, give us as much as you can if you can't give it all).

Might try cutting out all unneccesary back-slashes in that reference (I.E. <b>D:\directory\bin\executable.exe.log</b>) and see if that works...you might also need to change that line from accessing a local file to accessing the file through an http:// reference; but those 2 suggestions are all I can give w/o taking a good, long look at your code. <p>-Robherc<br><a href=mailto:robherc@netzero.net>robherc@netzero.net</a><br><a href= > </a><br>*nix installation & program collector/reseller. Contact me if you think you've got one that I don't :)
