I have an interesting problem with a brand new Win2k machine joining my domain. I have the machine and the users set up on the server, and I have local and interactive login rights given to the appropriate accounts. I can join the domain successfully, but then after I reboot the machine, I am locked out completely. Even the local administrator can't log in. I've been able to log in with one of my domain admin accounts, but for some reason, I have no privs to do anything. After this happens, the only thing left that I can figure is to rebuild the system. Help is greatly appreciated.

Have you tried managing the problem machine from the server to see what the effective group policy settings are?

Actually no, I haven't. For the simple reason that with the dozens of systems I've put on domains, this is the first time this has happened. I might give it a try over the weekend, but I'm a little leery of needing to rebuild a perfectly good machine again if it screws up again.
