Job Still running

Trying to setup Veritas 9.1 at customers site, back ups run okay when I make 'run now' back up, but when trying to get a scheduled back up set for 10pm at 8:30am the following monring the Job shows that it is still running and the tape has been ejected.

It then takes a long time to stop the 'running' process and cannot see if the backup was completed, any suggestions.

Stuck on this!!!

When the job is still running you cannot modified it.

U can try to cancel the job manually. then for sure the job will be marked as failed / Canceled by:

That doenst mean that you backup is failed (go in the log file to see if you have backup all)

If cancelling is taking a lot of time you can Stop the Be91 Services. For sure that will stop your backup.
Then you will be able to modify your job and your schedule!

There is probably an alert saying to remove media from drive it has been ejected.
