I was offered a job using Delphi 5 and asp.net using C#. I have been using C# almost exclusivly, I am wondering if I will feel that I have gone back in time if I move from Visual Studio .net to Borland Delphi 5. I have no knowledge of Delphi but I am somewhat concern about going from C# to Delphi

Any relpies would be great

Thanks

lol, going from delphi to visual studio is going back in time, in your case you're going back to the future...

What You See Is What You Get

Delphi is very easy to learn and use so I'm sure you'd have no problems grasping it, but as whosrdaddy said you will be stepping back in time! Since Delphi 5 there's been versions 6, 7, 8 and 2005 (which integrates Delphi, C#, the Microsoft .NET framework and Win32 support).

I currently use Delphi 6 which meets all of my company's software production needs at present. However, I haven't used any .NET stuff as yet so I can't really offer a useful comparison.
