Has anyone seen where a SQL Server job will have its connection terminated by the server localy? I have a job that has 16 steps. This is on SQL server 2005 sp1. 64 bit Ent edition. This step just moves data from one db to another on the same server. Another dba was able to recreate the same error by killing the spid while the job is running.

Executed as user: HOST13\SQL. Hospitals Complete [SQLSTATE 01000] (Message 0) Unspecified error occurred on SQL Server. Connection may have been terminated by the server. [SQLSTATE HY000] (Error 0) Process ID 183 attempted to unlock a resource it does not own: OBJECT: 8:739533718:0 . Retry the transaction, because this error may be caused by a timing condition. If the problem persists, contact the database administrator. [SQLSTATE HY000] (Error 1203)

Thank again Denny.
