Job engine service just says "stopping"

Hi all,

Im running Backup Exec 9.1. This morning i have checked the previous nights backup to find that it has completely froze. Backup Exec then crashed and closed. When i tried to re-launch it wouldnt connect to the media server, so i tried restarting the services - this made things worse as the job engine service just says "stopping".

I dont what to do now, is a reboot the only last option???

YEs reboot.

You can try using drwtsn32 -p to kill the process PID first before rebooting.
