jmail returns a comma instead of contents of memo field

Hi folks

I'm new to jmail - I can get it to return the contents of fields from an access database - but not from a memo field. All it returns is a comma.

I've Googled for ideas, but got nowhere. Any ideas?

I think a bit of clarification on what you're doing is needed. jmail is a mailing component and the mention of it returning a DB field is a bit throwing.

Dont' forget there are buffer limits to sending data and a memo field may be going over those limits

make sure you're not validating if the field is empty, memo fields will always check as empty cause they are externally stored "blobs"
