IPO 500 V2 8.0.42 VMPro 8.0.1009. Intuity mode.

When playing a a voicemail message, there is jitter or sometimes a burst of static at the point in the message header where it tells you the length of the message.

I have this same problem on two setups. One is a virtual server VM Ware server 2008. The second is in my lab on a windows 7 CPU. Same issue 2 enviroments.

When I downgraded my lab system to R7.0 or R6.1 I cannot reproduce the issue. No jitter or static at all.
Has anyone come accross this or can some one attempt to reproduce this.

Any input would be helpful.

Try IPO mode first in vmpro and see if it still happens.

Nopt a fan on IP Office mode, very limited on what it does. Switching to IP Office mode will fix the issue by eliminated the time stamp.

limited in what way?? the time stamp will still display on the handsets and im sure play the audio of that stamp

What about analog extensions or remote checking of messages?

IPO mode will allow remote access to mailboxes and i dont know what you mean by slt extns what do you want to achive on analogue extns??

I don't use IPO mode at all it sucks.. Thanks for the help.

lol, whatever :) I would add that I have never, not once needed to switch to Intuity mode to use any features not available in IP Office mode, I have however had to go the other way several times to cut down on the barrage of options and prompts you get on Intuity :)

right agreed and guess what due to the silence ..Mr Riddle here you go * because i think this is a case of being told its limited rather than trying it.

and as far as ipo mode sucking at least it does not give endles , prompts and instructions and does not cause jitter on time stamping a message ...get intuative on that :)

I should have said I am not a fan instead og sucking, my bad. I have over 100 of these systems out there and was asking for a little help.So much for that. Changing to IPO mode is not helping with my issue. I ask for help and you start bashing.
Thanks again

ha chill we are playing , we just like our product and stand by it, but if ipo mode solves the jitter , that must point towards a bug within vmpro itself , have you tried a repair install?

if not..no harm trying.

if yes must be a candidate for a ticket ..as honestly ipo does give audio time stamp and if there is differences between the two well Avaya sort it out......but no hard feelings

Uninstall/Reinstalled half a dozen times ,deleting folder completely. downgraded, upgraded .... all same result.
Only exists on R8.0
Different wav files are used between modes so switching it doesn't help with finding problem.

I would say it does help find the problem as it would narrow the issue right down to a certain set of .wavs, or if it's still the same then it rules that out, its so quick to change mode and test I don't see the resistance, you could have done it 3 times in the time it took me to type this :)

Has anyone got a spare Teddybear? This guy has just thrown his in the corner :)

mine is at home but , i will send it off to him...i use the alarm function on vmpro in IPOMODE to wake him up every morning!!!!
