Hi all
It has become apparent that some machines are requiring the Jet 4.0 patches (different ones per o/s) to allow my app to connect to an Access 2003 database using JET 4.0 OLEDB otherwise I get errors when quering the database.
Is there no way to include these JET files as part of the deployment of the app? as it seems unreasonable to expect end users to have to run Jet 4.0 service packs to keep JEt up to date.
Am I right in thinking that unlike earlier versions of JET where you could include the files required as part of the VB 5 setup build, the JET side of things, including updates etc is now all handled at the o/s?
Thanks
Steve
