JDeveloper 3.1.1.2 fails with Debugging Java 1.3 apps

I am using JDeveloper 3.1.1.2 and followed the instructions to install and use Java 1.3 with the environment.

Running applications works fine but debugging results with a StackOverFlow exception even on very simple programs.

I have played with the OJVM Virtual Machine settings but to no avail.

Anyone know what is going on ?.

P.S : I traweled the net for a couple of days trying to find someone who must of experienced this problem and to my surprise no-answers.

Could U pl. send me the context or exactly where U are getting the error as I have worked on this product and have faced many errors and could help to solve ur error if possible.

I am not a master as I am still trying to get familiar to this IDE

Geesh,

three months later I get my first reply. Thanks for the effort anyway.

I worked out the problem was in my installation.

So my advice to all is => NEVER EVER install a new version over an old one but to completly clear it out first. Even checking and clearing the registry for any remaining hooks to the old version BEFORE installing the new one.

My hair is only now growing back from that annoying experience.
