Hello,

I'm trying to develop an application that ties into microsoft's great plains dynamics. I'm running a pervasive SLQ2000 database engine, and trying to program with it for the first time. I'm writing the app in java. I've gone through and set up ODBC access to the btrieve tables, and everything works from ODBC. I'm trying to find a JDBC driver for SQL2000. I can find a 2000i JDBC driver, but no 2000. Does anyone have any information on this? If there is no driver, can I update to 2000i without having to reconfigure great plains, or lose any data structure?

Thanks for any help you can give.
Matt

PSQL 2000i is a service pack update for PSQL 2000. Basically, 2000i = SP3. You can download it from the Pervasive website, along with SP4 (latest fixes). There is no difference in data formats, structure, or application requirements.

I suggest you check with the MS Great Plains folks to make sure you are running a version they support with 2000i. Or, try it on a test server first. Linda
