Java questions???

ok my prob is that I went to this site that had little tests for driving spanish and stuff like that it was multiple choice thing I went there about a month ago and last night I tryed to go back and I cant get it to work I dont remember messin wit Internet Options so I asked a friend to see what she had checked under the Java list in the advanced tab and the same thing was checked she went to the site and everything worked for her is there another box I have to check to be able to have IE view java apps. I dont see it anywhere any help or suggestions would be very helpful
