Java Error

egate 4.5.3 on AIX.
I am using a stcewgenericjava eWay. When I start it, the log contains the following error:
the "JNI DLL" (/eGate/Client/JRE/1.3/bin/hotspot/jvm.dll) specified is not a Java 2 version

Do I need an update?
