Hi all,
I am looking to have a vector which when out of hours, will route to a voice mail box so that customers can leave messages.
I have created a dummy unassigned station with a coverage path which takes it to Audix. This works fine but how can i route to this from within the vector?

Any ideas?? Hope this helps
John

Hi,

If your running R9 you can se time-of-day routing in your vectors. Alternatively you can use time-of-day coverage in your coverage paths - "change coverage time-of-day xxx" to setup the alternate coverage options and then in your coverage path and as the only point of coverage "txxx" where xxx is table that you are using.

Hope this helps,

Chris

make sure that the dummy extension is x ported and that you have a voicemail box setup in audix and simply put in the vector

route to number (your dummy extension with cov y

A better way to do this is using the vector command:

message skill XX for extension active

XX = audix hunt group number.
Extensoin active = the VDN which routed to the vector.

So you can use the same vector for more than one VDN and set up each VDN with its own voicemail. s-)
