Hi i have two analogue extensions that go to an IVR message, if you listen to the whole message to the end the extension clears Ok but if you hang up mid call the extension will go into lockout, you can clear this by either taking the wiring off the frame or by doing LD 20 Chg, can anyone advise if i have to cahnge the disconnection signalling. we have a Meridian Option 11

Many thanks for this, i have changed the CLS to LDTA and the line doesnt go into lockout but it still keeps the line busy until all of the message has beem played, is there any way that the call can be released as soon as the line is disconnected??

Often, the IVR has a setting that says "If dial tone, then disconnect". That is common in dictation systems. CLS LDTA gives the IVR (or whatever other system is used) a burst of dial tone in hopes it will know to disconnect.

You can get an 8 port analog card that comes with true disconnect control, but for only two lines, I would be looking at what options the IVR application has for call control.
