ITG2 card issues on sucession 3 meridian 81C 1

Hi we are getting the following info output on itg2 card

Did you upgrade the firmware?

For ITG-P (Pentium): load firmware 5.7

For IP-SA: load firmware 6.5 at least.

The Firmware software is available on the nortel site, but the instructions in the book are goofy. You will need to get into the vxworkshell portion of the card and load the firmware. It is service effecting.


3) Copy supplied files "ITG_TRU.O" and "ITGPFW57.BIN" to a PCMCIA card.
4) Insert PCMCIA card in faceplate slot of ITG card.

5) Check files on PCMCIA card:

For Sucession 3 on the PBX, the ITG2 line or trunk card must be running RLS 3.0 or 3.1 in or for it to work correctly along with the firmware as stated above

the firmware takes the ITG2 to the ITG3. and when done, works like a charm.
