Hi

i'm experimented the same issue at 2 different customers:
ITG VGMC Trunk card in rls 25 PBX is restarting by itself, shutting down all communications, and this issue appears many times a day. These systems are running from a long time. Software 3.01.60 and firmware 5.7 have been updated during that year to be Gatekeeper compliant. One of the 2 boards have been replaced unsuccessfully.

These 2 cases are in Option11 and in Option81C. In the both case, the shelf are full. I then guess to have power supply failure that the ITG don't have enough power to be always up. That's only a supposition.

Is there any patches to apply to these boards, and how to apply it? This is not MC that are patchable from Element Manager.

Any idea???
 
that problem is not that uncommon... get off of rls 25, that was not a good rls for itg when it was a new rls.. if not look at the ram in those two boxes.. when rls 25 was new, we had to max the ram to keep itg;s up.. it only happened maybe on maybe3 or 4 out of every 10 switches, but 35 percent fail rate is not a good thing.. unless you like overtime...

Do you mean that the ITG ram has to be increased? Which memory size does it have to reach?
