ITG trunk (TIE) not sending DTNF tones

I have and option 11C running release 5 with a ITG tie to an 81C running release 4.5. When the dial across the tie they can use DTMF tones to access menues on the 81C, does any know what could be causing this isssue?

What software is running on the IT-G card?

They are running release 2

I think you need IP TRUNK 3.1 minimum on 5 if not higher...
