Yeah, I'll believe it when I see it. I took a 20% cut in pay when my job got wiped by outsourcing. So I might get what, 15% back? It's still less than what I was making two years ago.

Good point sostek. When I see the rise in my paycheck, I'll believe it. Hopefully these "higher paying jobs" won't go to the new MCSEs that have passed the test but have never touched a server before.

I trully believe that there was/is a conpiracy by corporate america and or government providing data that told that tech jobs are on the rise and were increasing exponentionally to bring down the average pay for IT staff.
I cant believe anythy of these so called projections anymore. I know a lot of people got into IT in the late 90's for that reason. More money with minimal training.
